If a HVAC unit has a maximum fuse size of 35A fed from panel with a 35A circuit breaker and local 35A fuses at the disconnect, would this be ok?
There is a concern that by sizing both the circuit breaker and fuses at the MFS that the circuit breaker would trip first.
Are any additional calculations needed for sizing a circuit breaker if the cutsheet for a HVAC unit only gives you MFS. For instance, a 35A MFS would equate to a 40A C.B.?? or would it just always be 35A fuse and 35A circuit breaker?
