Sizing circuit breaker for DC loads of switchgear

Hi,

Would there be a demand factor in determining the circuit breaker size of a DC UPS panel that supplies to a switchgear (the DC panel supplies to multiple panel of the switchgear using a single circuit), given that the switchgear's CB motors, would not function simultaneously.

I think these would be class 1 circuits and as such there are no established requirements in the code for computing the loads. The code only has requirements for load calculations for services, feeders, and branch circuits. Class 1 circuits are not any of those. It would seem to me that would make it a design choice.
