So getting into MH video 2023 fundamental electrical calculations . equipment 100a or less you must use 60 degree column unless equipment terminals rated for 75 degree . What if you don’t know what the terminals are rated for ?

Then you would have to use 60.

Fact of the matter is, very little, if any, equipment available these days has terminals that are not 75.

Thanks. He also said there’s two different ratings . The equipment rating and then the lug rating. You have have to go with the equipment rating . are there really two different ratings ?

The lugs themselves are often rated 90° so it's the equipment the lug is attached to that governs your termination.
Breakers area good example.

It is possible that the equipment is constructed with a terminal rating that is higher than what the manufacturer has rated the equipment as. For example an AL9CU terminal is rated for 90° C but the equipment would be rated at 75° C.

So, your saying for a panel the equipment rating is the rating of the breakers? Are there markings somewhere on equipment that the says " equipment rated for...."? Now this equipment rating thing becomes a little dicey to me.
