What size generator is good for 5000sqft 4-2ton ac with handlers, 2 motors for pool equipment, dishwasher, washers gas dryer 3 bath, microwave, customer wants whole house. No load shedding. What's a good rule of thumb when sizing something like this. I've heads 22 26 being able to handle but I'm thinking a 48kw because customer is serious it need to be whole house

If customer were to agree on some load shedding would you do load calculation with the load shedding modules?

Yes, you must still do load calcs to determine how much load you can retain and must shed.
The other option is to not attempt to supply the entire house, but instead just one panel.
