Sizing Larger Conduit Bodies

I am looking at mikes illustration on sizing larger conduit bodies, using #4 and larger conductors. Illustration shows a LB conduit body

Step 1: Dimension a is determined by looking up Table 312.6a. 500kcmil = 6 in.

Step 2. Dimension B is the longest part of the body and is sized to the angle pull requirements of 314.28a2.

If I have 3" raceway entering the conduit body, then you would mulitply 6 (angle pull) x 3 (raceway) = 18 in.

The illustration falls short of explaining, in the real world, how to take the above data, 6in. and 18in. and select a proper conduit body.

Can anyone help with an easy method to use?
