Sizing of MOP for Chiller with VFD

I'm working on a chiller with a VFD and MCA is 1192 and MOP is 2000 amp. Trying to figure out how they got to the 2000 MOP.:?

Short for MOCP, Maximum OverCurrent Protection.
Since the motor(s) all have overload protection the circuit OCP does not have to handle that, but the wiring of the device still needs short circuit and ground fault protection and the MO(C)P specifies what that needs to be. You can use smaller but risk nuisance trips.
