hello everyone, i've got a job where we are building a overhead service in a mobile home park. We are using a 3- gang meter bank with 2 200 amp panals and a 100 panal for park lighting and signs' the 200 amp panals are for homes. I'm tring to calculate the wire size for the mast. Would 550.31 apply or would i use article 220 im not sure if i could use 310.15b6 in this situation either. I'm a little embarassed for posting this but i havent mastered calculations yet, thanks for any help!

Just to clarify...is this for RV sites or manufactured home sites.

One reason I ask, is that manufactured home site services (in my experience) are supplied by the serving utility, and RV setups are supplied by services (serving utility supplied) which feed multiple sites.

Just to clarify.

i havent done load calculations , i just know we are building it to replace a exsiting service damaged in the storm, it only serves one manufactured home and 100 amp panal for park lights, but we are adding the 2nd 200 amp panal for another manufactured home being installed in a few weeks. do i need to get individual calculations or can i overkill the wires up to the weatherhead . I havent seen job yet just getting some ideas this is new to me

ok, after reading some more i think 230.90a ex3 is what i was looking for if there is more than one disconnect size the service conductors for the calculated load. I was thinking i had to add the overcurrent devices together which didnt seem right, i will get load calculations.

Maybe i do, infact i know i have a long ways to go.Iwork for a very small 3 man company with a semi-retired boss. Everything i know i've had to learn myself by reading the code and this forum. I dont have people around me to learn from. My question may be stupid to most of you but im just trying to learn the reasons for stuff. I think ive done pretty good i did get a 91 on my test a few weeks ago, although calculations are definitely not my strong point ive never had to do them before! Iwill certainly make it a point to learn them now.
