sizing wire on distance

Some showed me a simple way of finding out what size of wire you needed for distances? Here's what I have 8amp load of a distance 800 ft. Does anybody have a quick simple short cut?

real simple answer.. go to Bussmann.com and download their software for voltagedrop.

I looked on bussmann and I don't see where the voltage drop software is? Could you point it out for a blind guy?

#4awg copper would get you a 3.2% vd.
