SJT in Conduit

I was told I would fail an inspection if I put sjt cord into a conduit so I could go through a wall. Is that correct and does anyone know what code that is?

Installing flexible cord in a raceway is a violation of 400.8(6).

What's interesting is I see cord in conduit all the time, one place I see it a lot is sewage treatment plants, where they needed to sleeve the last bit in pipe to get it to the control panel. I didn't realize it was a violation...

Are you saying it is wrong to place flexible cord in a sleeve like for a fountain. or a Pool light!! is that a different type cord?
