sleaving NM cable thru conduit

is it permissible to sleave nm cable(S) thru conduit?
i am getting mixed info from my co-workers with no NEC reference
an answer with an article referance would be greatly appreciated

Yes its ok, but for indoor use only (NM cable is not allowed in wet or damp locations). Conduit fill must be considered. Heres one that makes it clear: NEC 334.15 (B) Note: I’m rusty

Yes, Romex is sleeved on block walls in garages, on pilings on ground floors of stilt houses every day.

Look @ 300.9 for installation outside. Then 334.12(B)(4) other then this yes it can be sleaved.

The code states that when transferring from one wiring method to another you must use a J Box unless a UL approved fitting is used Check out Bridgeport Fittings # 280-DC This will allow for nm to 1/2 EMT
