We are using parallel single conductors as a single feeder supply to a given load. Is using a PVC Gland can avoid heating effects on metal sheets surrounding the cable other than a solution of using aluminum plate or providing a slot/slit in between cable entry? Can somebody provide another solution?

No.

You will have heating any time you have a complete circle of magnetic material around a single conductor.
