I've got a resi (SFR) service upgrade I'm trying to price out. The one customer request is aesthetics, specifically size. This will be in an unsightly place, very visible.

100A to 200A to add some elec heat and other small stuff. I could just do 150A based on the load calcs, but I would rather do it right.

Relocation of the service entrance/point of attachment is not practical in the budget.

Currently its a 100A meter only with backfed panel.

Local AHJ requires an exterior main anyway

I think that GE's meter main is the smallest foot print, but I haven't found CH specs yet.

Any thoughts on the smallest Meter/Main Disconnect Combo?

Square D's RCH series is not a monstrosity, unless you need a lever bypass in your area. If so, I would suggest a seperate meter pan and breaker style disconnect switch to keep it small. all of the M/M combo's that I have seen with the lever bypass socket are huge.
