smilies?

Although not an NEC question, can someone explain why I can only post one type of smiley? All the others show as a red X.

I have the same problem. I get a bunch of x's in the "reply" window, and although I can still choose them, they still show up as x's in the messages.

Right now I have 3 that are not x's, but they seem to change.
 
I've noticed the red x smiley's as well.

but i have another question and it regards General Forum questions.

Can there be such a Thread set up for this? This would elimante all these "odd" question in places like the NEC, etc.

And how do you get a picture under your name shown?

That does not surprise me, the webmaster seems to have left the building once this new software was halfway installed. (I would put a scowling smiley here but it won't work)

I don't know what you guys' problem is, mine work just fine. You just have to make your own.
