Smoke Detector requirements in a UPS Room.

I am part of the design team for a Hospital that will house several UPS's in a dedicated room. The room will be sprinkled. The client is asking me if we need smoke detectors in this room, I typically would say no because the room is sprinkled...but being a UPS room where battery charging will happen is there a code or standard that would require this room to have smoke detectors regardless?

I am in Florida so this state's codes would apply.
