SO SJO drops with quad or twistlock?

590 - Temporary Installs? I was thinking the OP was asking about permanent pendant drops in Article 400. But there aren't any details there on the box type. I recently had regular NEMA 5-20 receptacles hung on pendants in a lab. They used a cast box and the receptacle is vertical (like a normal wall receptacle). The twist locks were on EMT with regular 4" square boxes, and they face down.

(H) Pendant Boxes. An enclosure supported by a pendant
shall comply with 314.23(H)(1) or (H)(2).
(1) Flexible Cord. A box shall be supported from a multiconductor
cord or cable in an approved manner that protects
the conductors against strain, such as a strain-relief
connector threaded into a box with a hub.

As long as your box has threaded hubs, yes.
