Socket Fan New Product - Scary?

Went to Walmart and noticed they are selling this new product: socket fan. The product is a fan intended to screw into any downward facing type a lamp fixture (think can light, porcelain fixture, etc). The product seems to have no third party evaluation and is supposedly made by a company with “110 years of experience innovating.”

Looks like a scary product. Assuming I am correct and this is something that is dangerous, I guess at least it’s a testament to our great country. Even if you have a bad and dangerous idea, you still get to have wild success! No but really, since the pandemic, it seems that quality is down everywhere and no one cares about introducing absolutely dangerous product to the market.

I can't comment on this product's safety. But I once bought a light (no fan included, and no remote control) that installs the same way. I put it in the garage overhead light fixture. It brightened the space amazingly and never gave me any trouble.

The site shows the fan going into a recessed fixture.

I've seen commercials for those on TV; they do come with an extension.

Considering the way recessed cans are constructed I can't see any way for them not to wobble.

I wonder if they are reversible? Seems they could loosen up when turning in reverse. Sort of "unscrewing" themselves!
