Soil Testing

I need to put together a specification for Grounding Potential resistively testing for a geotechnical consultant. This is to aid in the assistance of the grounding design for a outdoor industrial substation, does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking for performance specifications for this type of testing, or even a generic specifications I can edit from and add my additional comments to. Thanks.
