I am looking over a plan set that has inverters outside in the public right of way. I would think this is bad planning, but, I was wondering, does 110.26(E)(2(a)(2) apply?
Basically, Do they need to be protected from vehicle traffic or accidental contact by code?
I want to say yes since it is a public sidewalk but the code section only applies to switchgear, panelboards and MCCs outside. I couldn't find anything in 690 for it.
