2020 NEC code article 696.10B In industrial controlled establishments. What legally is considered an industrial-controlled establishment? The reason for the question is in 696.10 b1 it allows any conductor type to be used in the CAB, this means single conductor AC circuits consisting of 120-240 wires ran loosely not grouped in an external jacket.

Code citation is off, there is no Article 696 in the 2020 NEC and 690.10(B) is not relevant. Are you citing a different version of the code? (Local ammendment or different year?)
