Solar On a Boathouse

I am trying to confirm there is nothing in the NEC that would prevent someone from installing a solar array on top of a boathouse. I have spoken with my local AHJ and off the top of his head he could not think of any code that would prevent us from such an installation. He’s continuing his research, as am I, and wanted to pose this question here as well.

Just wanted to give you the thumbs up for bringing in your AHJ up front. NEC is probably silent and/or vague on it, so it's probably going to come down to the AHJ's call anyway. Good thinking on getting his buy-in first.
