Does anyone have any comments or feedback on these?

We are trying to decide whether or not to approve these to meet our local security code.

How reliable are they?

Will an overcast day during the winter when daylight is short affect operation time?

The cheap ones are terrible. If you approve them does that mean poeple could use the cheap ones. Could you set some sort of standards to ensure there descent. Ive put it to different styles at my mothers. The cheap ones were worthless no problems with the much more expensive set. But I dont watch them around the clock.
