What are some of the key recommendations when designing a solar grid tie system ?
  1. The solar panels will be installed in a car park.
  2. The size system is 70KW
  3. This system is for a a company corporate office.
  4. An audit of the building is in progress.

This is too general a question. Like any construction project, the devil is in the details, and there are many choices along the way. Also you are in Jamaica? What codes apply?

That said, for a system this size, the big thing that comes to mind would be to contact the utility and start the process for interconnection before you build the system. If the utility tells you your system is too big or you will have to pay them to upgrade something, you want to know that early.

Do you have any PV experience or training? If you have neither, I am afraid that your chances of success are limited.

The key recommendation:
You know what you are doing.

If not, hire somebody that has experience.

Why do so many people want to re-invent the wheel all alone?
