Solid wire in LFMC

had a motor quit on a pump today, one of the motor leads broke off in the starter at the lug, It looked to me from being vibration from the pump,solid wire from the starter to the motor inside the liquid tight. Thinking I should change it out to stranded. Are we allowed to install solid inside LFMC.

more likely a victim or over torquing or being scored when the insulation was removed.
