I previously discussed the demand for the current project the calculated load was just shy of 1300amps 40 ac units. I need to run a riser 6 stories to the roof.
My plan was to run the feeder then branch off into 6 disconnects 200 a each and splitting the loads Evenly
I have 18 units at 36.5a and 22 units at 28amps
My question is as follows do I run 3/0 because my switch is 200 amps or do I run conductors sized to the load on each switch
Sincet calculated load is 1300 I need to round up to the next standard size of 1600anps
Again do I run feeder for 1600 amps or calculated load
How would you attack this run the feeder into some sort of i-line panel or the like and then branch off?
Run 6 200a feeders to the roof just trying to get some.ideas

For something like this we would run one 1600 amp feeder to a distribution board with the appropriate number of breakers for each of the 200 amp feeders.

I agree it's the best way to go , then just tap the appropriate size conductors to the 3/0 from the 200a feeder
