The October IAEI magazine is available. In this month, there is an article about "Electrical Code For The Combination Inspector".

Figure 3 on page 62. It shows a single gang meterpan, labeled as "Service metering equipment."

"230.66 Marking. ...Individual meter socket enclosures shall not be considered service equipment."

I believe the illustration is misleading in regards to what the Section says.

I see no problem with that , Service metering equiptment , means metering equiptment for services . what else would you call metering equiptment? No one said it is service equiptment .
