I decided to drop the ceiling of my Foyer and I noticed that a wire heading out to my Coach lights was damaged, see photos. Sometimes you get lucky.

Jon456 Senior Member Location Colorado Sep 29, 2012 #2 Wow. I didn't see any nails there, so I assume the insulation got damaged when the NM was pulled in.
