Source voltage 240v motor rated straight 208v

Looking at ansul system(will have other question related to this in another post) and motor states 208v it’s not dual rated.

was reading a couple forms this one stuck out https://forums.mikeholt.com/threads/240-feeding-208-volt-motors.122880/
Seems like it will work but violation of manufacturing listing.
seems my only option is a transformer correct? Am I missing something

sorce voltage is 123/246 single phase

With +/- 10% gets motor up to 228volt.

Since this is a packaged piece of equipment there may be more than the motor involved such as a control transformer or other items that may be only 208 volt. Also since it is listed as a package for 208 volt there may be an AHJ issue with 240 volt supply.

Have not made it over. Here the wiring diagram and it does have a transformer to control damper,

Yeah, with that damper motor, you would end up almost 130V on it if you feed it with 240. I would put a buck-boost transformer on it, drop it down to closer to 208V.
