Can you hook up a 110v spa that basically has an extension cord wired to run it, and not a GFCI packaged unit to an office out building 21ft away. If I change the exterior outlet to a GFCI and run RMC 6" under to a 4X4 post with rain tight outlet cover. The extension cord is on the other side so I would have to run it around the spa to the outlet. Lets say the outlet is 5 plus feet away, ran in 12/2 w/gnd. Can I use romax or do I need to use UF cable. Also the breaker is not dedicated and runs an added on office. This is for Residential.

Sorry Deanna but we are forbidden by Forum rules from answering questions from non-electrical professionals. Spa's can be extremely dangerous when wired incorrectly. You should find a licensed professional electrician to perform this work.

Nicely put Trevor.

Deanna, I can not think of any electrical installation at a home that has a greater potential for death than an electric tub.

Please hire a professional, make sure the job has permits and inspections.
