whats the min.breaker for a spa water heater.this was a ? on my test I think it is 60 amps unless i read the code wrong. Aslo how many recps on a counter 64" long with no breaks in it one counter I put 2 unless I am wrong with the 24" spacing

That's an awful question but I would have to go with #12 since the egc cannot be smaller than #12 for lights & feeders. I thought it would be the same for heaters but there is no min. there is however a max. 680.9

I would agree with the 2 receptacles for the counter-- Still baffled by question 1-- I cannot find any reference to min. OCP- most spas are 50 but I have seen some that are 120v and 20 amps. I am thinking in this case the egc must not be smaller than #12-- 680.21(A)(1). So I would still say 20 amps as my answer.
 
I'm kind of with Dennis on this one. Usually they are package units or gas heaters.

What code section did you use to come up with your answer? Would have helped if I had looked at the code section Dennis quoted before I answered. I agree that 60 amps is the max.

I would also agree that two receptacles for the counter would be fine.
