The engineering design package is showing motor space heaters for 460V motors of 1HP thru 100HP.
I’ve usually seen space heaters starting around 50HP. I think it’s excessive to have a 1HP motor with a space heater but I have nothing to really base it on other than past projects. Is condensate really an issue for small motors? Are there any specific guidelines on Horsepower etc?
