Spare conductors in I.S. Multi-conductor cable

Can spare conductors of a muli-conductor cable used in I.S. circuits be allowed to be taped back or do they need to be terminated on both ends of the cable?

What an interesting question, I confess I haven?t given it much thought. I guess Section 504.30 could conceivably lead you to Section 725.3(B). Still, I think it?s a stretch. If I were really concerned, I'd tag them for future use.
