Anyone see the Persids Meteor shower last night. WOW!
What a show. Tonigh may be good also.

Yes, I got my lounge chair and camped out on the back porch for about an hour. I began to fall asleep about 3:30am and feared waking up with a critter licking my face. I counted about 13. One was really big. The sky was misty & cloudy, like it is during all meteor showers in South Carolina, unless the moon is full that night.

Tonight, we are over cast with sporadic heavy downpours of rain.

I'm jealous! Down here in the Washington, DC area there is so much light pollution that we can see only the brightest stars...and most of the time it is overcast!
