I posted a few months back ' speak up or shut up ' and found out the managers just do not go against another manager. being a hourly worker just can't doesn't mean much here. That type of work [ working hot ]did stop but only after hearing it from a electrical safety trainer after a day class . In the beginning anyone of the managers could or should have said i'll look into it but never did say that.
One good thing did come from this was when I had the pleasure to tell the contractors that work was cancelled and why , one of the contractors said how happy he was not to have to go down into this duc and be surrounded with energized cables. Any work now must be done deenergised,
