Use a mud ring with four mounting holes, then transfer the locations. Considering the cost maybe just toss it & get a new one

I had the same sediments. I could
Use another 5sq ring to drill some mount holes
I just never saw that before

On the subject of ODD stuff, had a 3 way toggle switch , the toggle was marked Off/On. In hindsight I should of kept it.
