I had a hot tub for many years but I’m replacing it soon. I want to place the new tub in a different location, about 6’ from where the old tub was. is it acceptable to put in a weather proof junction box under my deck and splice onto my existing wires so I can get the length I need to make the connections? Wiring is #6 3 wire with ground.
