I once had to interface four 3/4" EMT's with 24 12-2 MC's. I used a J-box and mounted two ground bars directly to the box with a pair of 8-32's each. Quick and neat, and the inspector was delighted.

Wow, why didn't we think of a ground bar fastened to the box.

How many #12's they rated for, anyhow?

I once worked with a guy who's answer to a question like this was "just one more"

BTW I would also use a ground bar
