Hello Guys,

Is is okay to splice one circuit into three parallel circuit. I have one 200 ft, 3 phase 4 wire run ( 750MCM in 4" conduit). I need to splice it at about 150 ft and continue into 3 parallel run (3 parallel 2/0 in 3 parallel 2" conduit) so that I can use smaller conduits due to crunch of available space. I am planning to splice inside a underground Vault. Is it okay to do. Do I run into any technical issue/short circuit issue/NEC code compliance issue. May you please advise.

Thank you

That is fine, but the EGC in each of the 2" conduits has to be sized based on the rating of the OCPD that the 750s connect to.

The paralleled 2/0's are going to terminate on the same device?
Good question. If not they are no longer "paralleled conductors". They likely then become "feeder taps" and would need to conform to tap rules. If they are service conductors, then they are still service conductors, presuming they each land in separate service disconnecting means in that situation.
