We're doing a remodel and need to move the condo's sub panel, which will require splicing the EGC, from the main service, in a j-box. Does this splice have to be "irreversible" or is this only required for the main service ground? Also, can I bond the j-box with the sub-panels EGC or should I use a bonding bushing. Will either way work?
Thanks

EGC's are commonly spliced with standard wirenuts, all of the time (think of a few NM cables together in a box). It's a GEC that requires the irreversible splice.
