Splicing the EGC's

When terminating EGC's in a panel and the ground bar does not have enough terminals, is it permissible to splice several ground wires under a wirenut with a pig tail to the ground bar??

Sure as long as the pigtail is at least as large as the largest egc in the bunch.

I did not know this, you learn something new everyday. I guess I figured you would have to upsize the EGC so I never looked into it. I guess it's not likely to have faults on multiple circuits at the exact same time so it wouldn't matter, eh?

Yup kind of similar to pulling one EGC in a raceway with multiple circuits. {250.122(C)} You would just need to size it according to the largest circuit.
