My company is splicing two different MV cable together in a vault. Existing is 15kv 500mcm aluminum tape shield 133 epr. The new conductor is 500 aluminum 15kv 500 aluminum concentric neutral
Is there any concern in doing this. I am not a MV splice tech or MV electrician but neither are they lol. I told them to confirm with the engineers before buying but they still bought it and want to install it
