Split Bus MSP with Hybrid Inverter

Do anyone know if a split bus panel can be used as an MSP where the utility side feeds a hybrid inverter and the other part of the split bus is fed by the hybrid inverter. The top bus would have an MCB and if necessary 6 circuits or less.
