I am currently on a project which includes providing LT flex tails from a flush mounted 4" sq/ring/box support in the wall to office furniture partitions.
For some reason I'm thinking the faceplate attaching the tail to the box has to be a split cover. I can't find it in the NEC book, but I remember using the split covers at one time, 15 years or so ago. Does anyone else remember this? If this is still a requirement, can someone direct me to the code section?
Thanks!

Sierrasparky:
A split cover or faceplate is a stainless steel cover/faceplate with a 1/2",
3/4" or 1" predrilled hole that's been cut in half horizontally at the factory. They generally come with a yoke attachment to install on the box.

I am not aware of anything in Article 605 that would require a split cover on the j-box feeding a fixed type partition.
