Getting ready to wire a spray booth, been reading article 516. Are seal offs and explosion proof fittings required within 3 foot radius of any door?

Intrinsically safe wiring is another possibility (see Art 504).
It is fairly common on paint booths in this area.

Those are Class I, Division 2 locations.
