I have a friend whom has a large property , 8 valves were not working . My first inclination was the wires were damaged underground . I ran a test on the first valve closest to the source , disconnected the valve and and checked for shorts , nothing , checked for power in feed line disconnected from valve i got 26 volts . When I reconnected the valve I got 3 volts . I swapped out valve with a working valve , the same thing happened . the valve I removed from faulty location worked in other location .?? next step is to relocate power source from a closer power source with new wire , any insights .
