Sprinklering Electrical Room

If the local Fire Marshal's Office requires sprinklers to be placed in a 1-hour rated electrical room, would you then require all electrical equipment installed in that room to be NEMA 3R and listed for a wet location?

No, If that were the case then every building with sprinklers would require wp covers etc.

I agree with Dennis and will add that it is a rare electrical room I work in that does not have sprinklers.

Make sure the sprinkler man stays out of the dedicated equipment space.

The room is still deemed a dry location. Hence those guys above seem to know what they are talking about.......
