I'm trying to find out what this panel's rated at. I can't find it on the labels that are there. The main breaker has no ampere markings (wierd). And the building is only thirty or so years old.

I tried the Square D web site and it doesn't produce anything of their's for the Catalog no.

The number's UGC1220Q

Any ideas?

Re: Square D panel Cat. No.

Sq D has a really good tech support line. I have called several times and have always gotten an acceptable answer.

Re: Square D panel Cat. No.

Is it a load center or panel board?

Did you get the cat. no off the Panel cover?

Homeline panels are the only one that comes with a cover.

Re: Square D panel Cat. No.

Some of the QO panels come with a cover, such as the contractor kit panels, outdoor panels, and the little 4, 6, and 8 slot panels.

Re: Square D panel Cat. No.

It's a QO load center meter combo.

It is an 8 slot. I think. The place was built in '68.

Re: Square D panel Cat. No.

I just did as Tom suggested and talked to Square D's support people. Aside from the phone menu and having to give them data base info on me, :( , they were very helpful.

Pam told me it's a meter socket, no load center. So after I asked to speak with her supervisor, just kidding. :D

I was only on hold with her twice for about 5 seconds each time.

It's 100 amps. And I'm pretty disappointed because it has 150 amp entrance conductors.

Re: Square D panel Cat. No.

My experience with the older (25+) Square D equipment is the paper lables get damp and fall off. I have learned with SQ to put the catalog number and the series number on my drawings. The series will be a number such as E1, that has to do with the version. When you call for parts they will ask for the series number....

Re: Square D panel Cat. No.

That reminds me of the days when I did things from an office and a work bench. It's nice to be able to work in such an orderly fasion.

Working in the field isn't so tidy. I basically head to the supply house and get what I need. I keep some information filed but nothing as detailed as a panel series no.
