Square D Qwik Guard

QO Square D panel. Had come across 2 "Qwik Guard" breakers with a yellow test button. Are these breakers GFCI breakers before the term GFCI was coined? After a couple of google searches, looking on Square D's website, and searching the forums that's the best I can figure just wondering if anyone else had come across or used these circuit breakers.

Qwik Guard is Square D's trademark name for a Ground-Fault Interrupter unit.
