Curious if anyone out there knows if the SquareD QO "Qwik-Gard" GFCI breaker will not reset if the GFCI protection feature fails. I had a callout today where the hot tub power was fine yesterday, and then this AM the GFCI was tripped. I did some quick troubleshooting checks at the tub's panel but ended up working my way back to the GFCI, pulling line conductors individually, then the neutral at which point there was nothing connected and it still would not hold.

I went to the Schneider Electric website with no luck.

Thanks to anyone who's got the scoop.

Sounds like the GFCI breaker is bad. Breakers do go bad. Did you install a new one?

With the load conductors detached, and the breaker still trips = bad breaker.

I have had that problem occur more often with AFCI breakers than with GFCI breakers.
