ssu mounted on a 4" SQ MUD RING WITH A SINGLE OPENNING OR SINGLE GANG THE ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR SAYS THE PLASTER RING IS NOT UL APPROVED TO HAVE A SSU MONTED ON IT I AM USEING A RACO 8787 RING WHICH IS FLAT
 
Please turn off the ALL CAPS feature. It makes the post more difficult to read. It is also considered impolite, as though you were SHOUTING at us.

What's a SSU ? :confused:
