Any one get the Stallcup's Illustrated Code Changes 2008? Look at the first page.
It's written by:

James G. Stallcup
with
James W. Stallcup
Mark C. Ode

Yes. I flew from Memphis to Florence Alabama last evening with Mark Ode and discussed this book. He is very proud of the outcome and feels its right up there with the IAEI Analysis and other nationally recognized code change books.

I strongly urge everyone to get a copy of each...

I ordered the IAEI change book but have not recieved it yet. I have the 02.

I think I had less than 10% success on the ones I sent in. ;)

Does the Stallcup book actually list who proposed the change?
Yeh man, It's a great layout. Lists ROP, ROC, Submitter, Action, Correlation with UL,API,OSHA and other NFPA documents.

Shows the 05 ART. compared with the 08.

I haven't been able to put it down since I opened it this morning.(but now it's time for football)

I haven't seen Mikes book yet, will order next week. The IAEI book is OK, but is full of a lot of fluff - full page pictures that add nothing.

I usually don't buy a code changes book because our CE instructor gives them out. For the past few code cycles he's been using Mike Holt's book.

Most of my proposals I submitted with Mike Holt. Between the ones I submitted as myself, and the ones I submitted with him, I got about 90 of mine either accepted or accepted in principal.

Hi Ryan,

Great job all you people!

It still shocks me at times how much gets done here.
